This print was part of a series I did on the impact of pollution. This photo was taken during a winter inversion from 11th Ave where you could see the city, but in Liberty Park the same day, I took a photo that looked like a yellow fog was present. I used the sun to transfer the photo’s using a thermoset material, or polymer that changes when exposed to ultraviolet light, hoping to show the importance of light to our earth. The images were transferred on to a plate that I inked the tint then printed on paper. Each print has different color ink to show impact of color and light; Each were hand colored with watercolor to communicate the impact of healthy or unhealthy atmosphere. The image is framed and matted in a black frame; size of 18 X 24.
