Barry Scholl will lead a small group (limit of eight participants) on a rock-art hike. The approximately three-mile round trip will be moderately strenuous and involve some up and down trekking. We will stop to view local flora including snakeweed, Mormon tea, claret cup cactus and prickly pear (which may have been cultivated by the native people in the area as a food source and for its useful spines). Halfway through the hike, we will stop and view a very nice Fremont Indian petroglyph panel. Aa a reward at trail’s end, participants will have the opportunity to sample one of Tifani Scholl’s famous vegan chocolate chip cookies.
