Kevin Hogge
Raised in the Salt lake Valley in Utah, Kevin Hogge spent most summers camping, fishing, and traveling to national parks with his family, which developed his love for nature. His father was an automobile mechanic and started taking Kevin to work with him at around age six. He worked with his father until he graduated from high school and left for college.
As a result, he became interested in the mechanical processes of things. From an early age Kevin spent long hours drawing and painting from both observation and imagination. His family was always very supportive of his interest in art.
Kevin received an Associates Degree from Ricks College (now BYU- Idaho). He spent the next fifteen years working as a graphic designer and printer in his own business. During that time, he continued to study and create art. He made the decision to go back to school and to start a career as an artist. He finished his BFA at the University of Utah. He currently lives in Orem, Utah.
